SILGREEN® C is a 100% plant-derived substitute to volatile silicone oils designed to confer the dry and “powdery” touch of Cyclopentasiloxane and Isohexadecane. It is based on a synergistic combination of vegetable alkanes and a copolymer obtained from Olive Oil.
SILGREEN® C confers a dry silicone-like texture to the product, it is ideal to improve the spreadability of white cosmetics and reduce the overall greasiness of the formula. Moreover, SILGREEN® C acts as an effective dispersant for coloring pigments in color cosmetics or physical and chemicals filters in sun care applications.

  • Soluble in mineral and vegetable oils. Insoluble in water, glycerine and glycols.

TEST

  • Tolerance test made on reconstructed vaginal epithelium shows it is neither irritant nor toxic or CMR.

 

 
  • 5 – 30% All types of white cosmetics, including: baby products; body care; skin and hair treatment; hands, nails and feet care; makeup products and sun protection (also product with very high SPF, UVA/B, self-tanning, after-sun, …)
  • 2 – 30% Hair dry oil applications.
