I completed my studies in marketing in Italy and United States. I founded SOCRI in 2011 with the conviction that green was the present and above all the future of cosmetics. At SOCRI – Greengredients we are fully committed to imagining and realizing this future.

Silvia Moretti

R&D Biologist and efficacy testing

I have a Master’s Degree in Biology and a Ph.D. in Biology and Experimental Medicine from the University of Perugia. I joined Socri in 2022 as an R&D biologist and Application Lab Manager at Greengredients Technical Center. I’m involved in the development of new active ingredients and new formulation guidelines.

Alessandra Bartoccini

R&D Chemist and Regulatory Affairs

I have a master’s degree in Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Technologies. I’m involved in the synthesis of new functional and active ingredients. I joined SOCRI in 2021 and I’m in charge of R&D and regulatory affairs.

Matteo Zecchini

Senior R&D Chemist 

I completed my Master’s degree in Chemistry at the University of Parma, followed by a PhD in Chemistry and Materials Science awarded by Nottingham Trent University in 2015. After working for 10 years in the UK, both in academia and industry, I joined SOCRI in 2025. Currently, as a Senior Research Chemist within the R&D team, I am responsible for advancing the chemical development of novel active and functional ingredients.

Barbara Ravetta

Purchasing & Sale Administration

After graduating in tourism administration, I started working in 2004 dealing with sales and administration. I joined Socri in 2012 and I’m in charge of the administration and logistics of the company.

Operations

After graduating in communication I have been working in the social sector for over 10 years. I believe that empathy and transparency are the basis of a successful marketing strategy. I have been working in Socri since 2020 and I am in charge of operations.

Manuela Di Paola

Communication & Branding Manager

With an academic background in the humanities, I worked across different sectors in roles focused on content strategy and digital projects. Since 2023, I’ve joined the SOCRI team, where I take care of communication and branding activities, shaping focused narratives and giving voice to our research and scientific innovation.

Simona Parisi

Marketing & Sales

With a Master’s degree in Pharmacy and two post-graduate Level II Master’s degrees, one in nutraceutical products and one in digital marketing, I bring over a decade of experience in B2B and B2C marketing and sales across the nutraceutical, software and music industries. In 2025, I joined SOCRI as part of the marketing and sales team. Here, I combine strategic thinking with hands-on technical understanding to support partners effectively and help bring our innovations to market with clarity, empathy and measurable impact.

Giovanna Ecclesia

Technical Sales Specialist

After earning a Master’s degree in Industrial Chemistry, I began my journey in the Italian cosmetics industry, first working as a formulator, then moving into key account management and product development for finished products, and later as Technical Marketing and R&D Specialist. Since 2025, I’ve been part of the SOCRI team as a Technical Sales Specialist, where I aim to put my technical background to good use, helping me connect with customers more closely and support their needs with both understanding and expertise.
