AVOMULS® LOW is a liquid non-ionic Oil in Water emulsifier based on a new combination of a polyglycerol ester with vegetable fatty acids, Avocado oil and the Unsaponifiable fraction of Italian Olive oil, creating stable and low viscosity liquid crystals emulsions.

It is specifically designed for sensitive and delicate skin given its proven efficacy in reducing pro-inflammatory IL-8 levels.

Versatile in terms of formulation and compatibility with all active ingredients, AVOMULS® LOW allows moisturizing, nourishing and soothing formulations.


AVOMULS® LOW in vitro anti-inflammatory activity was evaluated in human keratinocytes (HaCaT cells). IL-8 levels were measured in cells treated with 40 μg/ml and 80 μg/ml AVOMULS® LOW and stimulated with tumor necrosis factor alpha (TNF-α) as proinflammatory stimulus.

AVOMULS® LOW showed a strong anti-inflammatory activity with a significant (p<0.01) IL-8 reduction (by 26% and 63%) in a dose-dependent manner.
