In & out DETOX® is a natural active plant complex designed to protect the skin effectively against external and internal stressors. It helps in fighting damages due to pollutants, UV radiations, free radicals and chemicals by getting rid of oxidative stress intermediates.

COMPOSITION

Broccoli (Sulforaphane): Activates Phase 2 detox enzymes, protecting skin against UV radiation, environmental pollutants, and internal reactive molecules (Boddupalli S. et al., 2012).

Bioflavonoids (Nobiletin): Found in citrus peel, exhibits antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, anti-allergic, antitumor, and antiangiogenic properties (Kim E. et al., 2022).

Ethiopian Eggplant (Flavonoids, Polyphenols, Phytosterols): Offers strong antioxidant activity, reduces inflammation and tissue damage, and enhances collagen production and tissue metabolism (Han M. et al., 2021).

ANTIOXIDANT ACTIVITY

Superoxide dismutase (SOD) is a key enzyme in cells, acting as a powerful antioxidant and part of the defense against harmful reactive oxygen species (ROS), as described by Ighodaro O.M. and Akinloye O.A. in 2018.

In & out DETOX® has been shown to significantly increase SOD2 expression in cells at various concentrations, particularly after 6 and 24 hours of application, and also enhances Catalase expression, highlighting its effectiveness in boosting the body’s natural antioxidant defenses.

Clinical evaluation of soothing and lenitive efficacy

Corneometric measurement shows that in & out DETOX® significantly increased skin hydration and its effect is long lasting. In addition, in & out DETOX® significantly improves Trans Epidermal Water Loss (p<0.027 and p<0.028 respectively) and Erythema index in subjects with SDS-induced skin irritation.

Clinical evaluation of purifying efficacy
