*At the end of the test, an untight seal in the cap of test flask 2 was located. Therefore the degradation values were significant lower than in test replicate 2. Test replicate 1 was not used for evaluation.

Results for the Test substance

SESAMULS® WO is considered as “readily biodegradable“.
♦ Ready biodegradability is defined in the guidelines as degradation surpassing 60% within 10 days after reaching a level of 10%. The 10-day-window began on day 5, at its end, 60 % were reached, surpassing the pass level of 60 % given in the OECD guideline.
♦ The degree of biodegradation reached 81 % after 28 days.
♦ Abiotic degradation was not observed.

Validity
All validity parameters and values are presented in the following table:
