Conclusions – Microbiological Stability Test – EPSAN® C
Based on the obtained results, the product Cream with EPSAN® C. (0.7%) is comparable to the standards established by Criterion A and the microbiological risk is therefore acceptable.
In particular, the following behavior was observed:
REDUCTION OF THE BACTERIAL LOAD
Staphylococcus aereus: reduction in 7 days
Escherichia coli: reduction in 7 days
Pseudomonas aeruginosa: reduction in 7 days
REDUCTION OF FUNGAL LOAD
Candida albicans: reduction in 7 days
Aspergillus niger: reduction in 28 days.
The preserving system, according to the evaluation criteria recommended by ISO 11930:2012 method, of the product Cream with EPSAN® C (0.7%) is comparable to the standards of the criterion A and results therefore to be ACCEPTABLE, according to the efficacy of the storage system towards the studied microorganisms.
